Griffith, Getty Me Some MILK.

Today I went on a trip to explore LA with some friends. We went to the famous Paul Getty Museum! It was beautiful. The gardens were superb and we had fun talking about art, jewelry and guys with sagging pants to the attendants.  

Next we drove to MILK, a delicious eatery centered around dairy! We enjoyed blueberry crumble pie, coffee toffee, and candy cane macaron ice cream sandwiches. If you are in LA near Hollywood, you must stop by.  

Last we found our way to the Griffith Observatory. This was probably my favorite part of the day.  From balancing on the walls, learning about outer space and admiring the lights of LA, I can only say it was a great experience. I can't wait to go back to the beautiful Griffith Observatory.

Oak Glen in Autumn

Yesterday my friends and I drove up to Oak Glen for a day of cinnamon rolls, apple cider and fake apple picking.  I practiced with a filter for the first time; the filter being my sunglasses, I know extremely professional. :) I was completely entertained by my filter and now I think I'll be using them more often! Happy Sunday all.

I Miss You

I just bought my tickets to Chicago and Nebraska to spend time with this pretty lady.  Friends since Kindergarten, the two of us are quite the pair.  From playing dress up with her grandmother's vintage clothes to learning to skateboard down the Encinitas streets; we've had amazing experiences together and found a way to maintain this beautiful friendship throughout all these years.

I'm writing this because I miss her.  I miss trying to pull all nighters and instead, falling asleep to her chatting away. I miss her asking me if I want ice cream for breakfast. I miss watching movies, biking around town, making fruit salad, and just laughing at life. Now that I hold my plane ticket, I am so excited just at the thought of what adventure lies ahead.  

L, I love you and I can't wait to see you!
